The best GoHighLevel alternatives in 2026

Short answer: Agencies reselling to clients should stay on GoHighLevel. A single business can save money with Systeme.io, ClickFunnels, Kajabi or Keap, depending on which part of HighLevel it actually uses.

Sub-accounts, white label, rebilling and SaaS Mode have no match here. The catch is usage fees for email, SMS and calls on top of the $97 to $497 monthly plan.

Why Look for GoHighLevel Alternatives?

HighLevel, sold at gohighlevel.com and widely called GoHighLevel, is built for marketing agencies. One account holds many client sub-accounts, each with its own CRM, funnels, email, SMS, calling, booking calendars, courses and reviews. Agencies can show clients their own brand through a white-label desktop app, and on the Agency Pro plan they can turn on SaaS Mode: sell the platform as a monthly subscription, create client accounts automatically and rebill usage with a markup.

That design is why so many people end up looking for alternatives. Common reasons:

  • You're not an agency. A single coach, clinic or online store pays for sub-accounts, resale tools and a long feature list it may never use.
  • Usage fees are hard to predict. The plan price is flat, but email, SMS, calls, phone numbers, carrier fees, A2P 10DLC registration and AI all come out of a prepaid wallet that auto-recharges from your card.
  • Key agency features sit on higher plans. Rebilling at cost needs Unlimited ($297/month). Rebilling with markup and SaaS Mode need Agency Pro ($497/month). The white-label mobile app is a separate $497/month add-on.
  • You only need one part. Many businesses use HighLevel mainly for funnels, or courses, or SMS follow-up, and a specialist tool does that part better or cheaper.

No single tool on this list replaces everything HighLevel does, especially the agency resale model. So this guide maps which alternative replaces which part: CRM, funnels, courses, SMS and booking. All prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked in October 2026.

Who Uses GoHighLevel, and What It Really Costs

Before comparing, it helps to be clear about what HighLevel is.

Plans

PlanPriceSub-accountsKey additions
Starter$97/month or $970/year3All core features, 24/7 support
Unlimited$297/month or $2,970/yearUnlimitedRebill phone and email at cost, basic API
Agency Pro$497/month or $4,970/yearUnlimitedSaaS Mode, automatic sub-account creation, rebilling with markup, advanced API
EnterpriseContact salesNot listedAccount managers, custom development, white-label mobile app and HIPAA included

Every plan has unlimited contacts and users. Annual billing equals 10 months of the monthly price. There's a 14-day trial, and usage fees can apply during it. HighLevel's FAQ says a white-label desktop app is possible, but its pages don't say which plans include it, so confirm before you buy.

Usage-based fees

This is the part that surprises new users. HighLevel's help center lists these US rates:

  • Email (LC Email): $0.675 per 1,000 emails. Email verification: $2.50 per 1,000.
  • SMS: $0.00747 per segment, inbound and outbound. Carriers add their own fee per outbound segment: AT&T $0.0035, T-Mobile $0.0045, Verizon $0.0050, others $0.0042.
  • MMS: $0.0220 outbound.
  • Phone numbers: $1.15/month local, $2.15/month toll-free.
  • Calls: $0.0166 per minute outbound, $0.01165 per minute inbound, rounded up to full minutes.
  • A2P 10DLC (required for US business texting): one-time $22.50 for sole proprietor or low-volume standard brands, $64.00 for high-volume standard; $15 per extra campaign vetting; monthly campaign fees of $2 (sole proprietor), $10 (standard) or $1.50 (low-volume mixed). HighLevel's A2P article says there is no markup, while its phone pricing guide says a 5% markup applies to A2P and carrier fees when rebilling is enabled. The pages differ, so check at signup.
  • Add-ons: WhatsApp $10/month per sub-account plus usage, dedicated email IP $59/month, HIPAA $297/month, white-label mobile app $497/month, premium support $500/month, AI Employee $50 or $97/month per location.

Worked example: one client account sends 20,000 emails and 2,000 single-segment SMS a month on a standard 10DLC campaign.

  • Email: 20 × $0.675 = $13.50
  • SMS: 2,000 × $0.00747 = $14.94, plus carrier fees of 2,000 × $0.0035 to $0.0050 = $7.00 to $10.00
  • Local number: $1.15
  • 10DLC standard campaign: $10.00
  • Total usage: about $46.59 to $49.59 a month, on top of the plan, plus one-time 10DLC registration.

That is manageable for one client. Across 20 clients, it is close to $1,000 a month in usage, which is why agencies rebill it.

Keap review

What it is: A small-business CRM with sales and marketing automation, email, texting, landing pages, funnels, appointments, quotes, invoices and payments. Keap is now a Thryv brand and was formerly Infusionsoft. It no longer sells separate Pro, Max and Ultimate plans on its public page.

Implementation services are required. Annual contracts carry a $299 early termination fee.

ActiveCampaign review

What it is: An email marketing and automation platform priced by contacts. CRM pipelines, SMS, WhatsApp and transactional email are paid add-ons.

Pricing (at 1,000 contacts, monthly, yearly totals in brackets): Starter $19 ($180/year), Plus $59 ($588), Pro $99 ($948), Enterprise $179 ($1,740). At 2,500 contacts Plus is $119/month and Pro $189/month. Starter caps at 25,000 contacts and 5 actions per automation. No free plan; 14-day trial.

Key features: Visual automation builder with branching, goals and webhooks; email A/B tests and, on Pro, automation split tests and predictive sending; landing pages from Plus; site tracking, contact scoring and revenue attribution on Pro; Calendly and Acuity integrations for booking.

SMS: an add-on on Plus and up. US senders must register for A2P 10DLC. ActiveCampaign's price data shows credit packs from $21/month for 1,000 credits, but the public page shows no SMS price, so confirm in your account.

Who should avoid it: Anyone who wants funnels, courses and booking in one login.

HubSpot Marketing Hub review

What it is: HubSpot's marketing tools on top of its free Smart CRM: email, forms, landing pages, ads, social and automation.

Pricing: Free tools for 2 users with 2,000 email sends a month and HubSpot branding. Starter is $20/seat/month monthly or $7/seat/month annual, as special pricing for new customers, with 1,000 marketing contacts. Professional is $890/month monthly or $800/month annual with 2,000 marketing contacts and 3 Core Seats, plus a required $3,000 onboarding fee. Enterprise starts at $3,600/month with 10,000 marketing contacts and $7,000 onboarding. If you go over your contact tier, HubSpot upgrades you automatically and you can't downgrade until renewal.

Automation and SMS: Starter allows very limited automation (HubSpot's pages differ on the action limit). Professional unlocks omni-channel workflows (up to 300) and Enterprise up to 1,000. SMS is an add-on on Professional and Enterprise only, for US-based numbers, with no public USD price.

Pros:

  • Free CRM that scales well
  • Low-cost Starter for new customers
  • Strong automation on Professional and Enterprise
  • Large app marketplace

Cons:

  • Big jump from Starter to Professional, plus $3,000 onboarding

  • Contact tier auto-upgrades

Who should use it: Teams that mainly use HighLevel as a CRM and want a stronger, free one.

Who should avoid it: Small businesses needing SMS automation on a budget, and agencies wanting resale.

Kajabi review

What it is: A platform for creators and coaches to sell courses, coaching, communities, memberships, podcasts and downloads, with a website, funnels, email and payments built in.

Pricing: Basic $179/month or $143/month billed yearly (5 products, 2,500 contacts, 2 admins). Growth $249/month or $199/month billed yearly (50 products, 25,000 contacts, advanced automations, affiliates, branding removal). Pro $499/month or $399/month billed yearly (unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, branded mobile app, API). Kajabi Payments costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. Using another payment provider (except PayPal) adds 2%, 1% or 0.5%. Kajabi says it takes no revenue share. 14-day trial and 30-day money-back guarantee.

Booking: Kajabi lists coaching products with scheduling. Its help center describes a built-in Kajabi Scheduler and Calendly or Acuity options, but we could only read summaries of those pages, so test booking in the trial.

Pros:

  • Strong course, coaching and community tools
  • Unlimited funnels, pages and marketing emails
  • No platform revenue share
  • Branded mobile app on Pro

Cons:

  • No SMS found on Kajabi's site

  • Extra fee for non-Kajabi payment providers

Who should use it: Coaches and course creators who use HighLevel mainly for courses, funnels and email.

Who should avoid it: Businesses that rely on SMS, calling or sales pipelines.

Systeme.io review

What it is: A low-cost all-in-one platform for funnels, email, courses, websites, blogs, communities, webinars and affiliate programs. Plans differ mainly by limits.

Pricing (monthly): Free with 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course and 1 automation rule. Startup $17 (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 10 automation rules). Webinar $47 (10,000 contacts, 50 funnels, evergreen webinars). Unlimited $97 (unlimited contacts, funnels and courses). Annual billing gives two months free. 0% transaction fees on all plans.

SMS: Systeme.io sends SMS through your own Twilio account. Twilio bills you directly and Systeme.io adds no markup. Its FAQ cites about $0.0079 per US outbound SMS (Twilio's rate). It isn't built for two-way texting or short codes.

Booking and sub-accounts: A booking calendar is built in, even on the free plan, with group events, paid bookings, reminders, Google Calendar, Meet and Zoom. Every plan allows unlimited sub-accounts with the same limits as the parent plan. There is no white-label app or resale mode.

Pros:

  • Free plan and very low paid prices
  • 0% transaction fees
  • Booking, courses and webinars included
  • Unlimited sub-accounts on every plan

Cons:

  • SMS needs your own Twilio account
  • Light CRM compared with HighLevel or Keap
  • No white label or resale mode

Who should use it: Solo creators and small online businesses that want HighLevel's funnels, courses, email and booking for much less.

Who should avoid it: Agencies that resell, and businesses that run on two-way SMS.

ClickFunnels review

What it is: A sales funnel and online business builder: funnels, pages, a store and checkout, email, courses, communities, appointments and a light CRM.

Pricing: Launch $97/month or $81/month billed yearly (1 workspace, 2 team members, 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month). Scale $197/month or $164/month billed yearly (5 workspaces, 75,000 contacts, automations, appointments, CRM pipelines, API). Optimize $297/month or $248/month billed yearly (10 workspaces, 150,000 contacts, advanced workflows, Affiliate Center). Dominate $5,997/year, annual only (20 workspaces, branding removal, dedicated email IP). 14-day trial plus a 30-day money-back guarantee. ClickFunnels says it takes no percentage of sales.

Note on Launch: the pricing page says apps like Automations and Appointments are included in every plan, but its comparison table shows Launch without them. Plan on Scale if you need either.

SMS: sent through a Twilio SMS inbox in Message Hub. ClickFunnels doesn't publish SMS pricing.

Pros:

  • Funnels and checkout are the core strength
  • Generous contact limits
  • Several workspaces from Scale
  • No percentage of sales

Cons:

  • Launch lacks automations and appointments per the table
  • SMS only through Twilio
  • No white label; branding removal only on Dominate

Who should use it: Businesses that use HighLevel mainly as a funnel builder.

Who should avoid it: Agencies that resell, and teams needing a full sales CRM.

The pattern is clear. Keap is the closest match for a single service business's CRM, texting and booking. Systeme.io and ClickFunnels cover funnels, courses and booking. Kajabi covers courses and coaching. ActiveCampaign and HubSpot cover email automation and CRM but need other tools for funnels and booking.

Head-to-Head: Cost for One Business at About 2,500 Contacts

GoHighLevel Starter$97$970/yearUsage: email, SMS, calls, numbers

ClickFunnels Launch (10,000 contacts)$97$81/month billed yearlyAutomations, appointments (Scale)

HubSpot is left out of this table because it doesn't publish a clear Starter price above 1,000 marketing contacts.

For one business, HighLevel Starter is not expensive on its own. What changes the math is usage. Using the worked example above (about $47 to $50 a month in usage), HighLevel Starter lands near $145 a month. Systeme.io at $17 plus Twilio charges is far cheaper. Kajabi and Keap cost more but bundle more help or polish.

If texting is central to your business, HighLevel and Keap are the only two with SMS built in and fully priced on their own sites.

Head-to-Head: Agencies and Multiple Clients

If you run an agency, the honest answer is that none of these alternatives fully replace HighLevel. The closest partial options:

  • Systeme.io allows unlimited sub-accounts on every plan, each with the parent plan's limits. On Unlimited ($97/month), that is a lot of client space for little money, but there's no white label, no client billing and no SaaS resale.
  • ClickFunnels gives 5 workspaces on Scale ($164/month billed yearly), 10 on Optimize ($248/month billed yearly) and 20 on Dominate ($5,997/year), with branding removal only on Dominate.
  • Keap, ActiveCampaign and HubSpot are single-company tools. We found no white label or resale programs on their pricing pages beyond partner programs.

For 10 clients, HighLevel Unlimited ($297/month) gives unlimited sub-accounts and at-cost rebilling of phone and email. If you want to resell software as your own product, Agency Pro ($497/month) is still the only option here with that model.

How to Choose: Decision Framework

1. Are you an agency reselling to clients? Stay on HighLevel. Pick Unlimited for at-cost rebilling or Agency Pro for SaaS Mode and markup.

2. Which part of HighLevel do you really use?

  • Mostly funnels and checkout: ClickFunnels, or Systeme.io on a budget.
  • Mostly courses, coaching and community: Kajabi, or Systeme.io on a budget.
  • Mostly CRM, follow-up texts and booking for one business: Keap.
  • Mostly email nurture: ActiveCampaign.
  • Mostly CRM and inbound marketing: HubSpot Marketing Hub.

3. How important is SMS? If texting drives your revenue, only HighLevel and Keap have it built in and priced on their sites. ActiveCampaign and HubSpot sell it as an add-on; Systeme.io and ClickFunnels use Twilio; Kajabi has none.

4. What's your real monthly budget, including usage? Add HighLevel's usage to its plan before comparing. Add implementation for Keap, onboarding for HubSpot Professional, and add-ons for ActiveCampaign.

5. What will it take to move? HighLevel holds your contacts, pipelines, funnels, automations, phone numbers and 10DLC registrations. Plan to rebuild automations and funnels, register 10DLC again with the new SMS provider, and test booking links before you cancel. Most tools here have a 14-day trial; Systeme.io has a free plan instead.

The Verdict: Final Recommendations

  • Agencies: stay with GoHighLevel. Its sub-accounts, white label, rebilling and SaaS Mode have no match on this list.
  • Best budget replacement: Systeme.io. Free to start, $17 to $97 a month, with funnels, courses, email and booking. Bring your own Twilio for SMS.
  • Best funnel replacement: ClickFunnels. Choose Scale ($164/month billed yearly) if you need automations and appointments.
  • Best for coaches and courses: Kajabi. Growth ($199/month billed yearly) unlocks automations and affiliates.
  • Best for a single service business: Keap. CRM, texting, booking and invoices, from $299/month with guided setup.
  • Best for email automation: ActiveCampaign. Plus from $49/month billed yearly at 1,000 contacts, with add-ons for CRM and SMS.
  • Best CRM: HubSpot Marketing Hub. Start free or on Starter, and budget for Professional when you need real workflows.

Conclusion

GoHighLevel is an agency platform first. If you resell marketing software to clients, it is still the right tool, and the job is to manage usage fees and pick the plan that matches how you bill.

If you're one business using a slice of it, you're probably paying for features you don't need and usage you didn't expect. Work out which part you really use (CRM, funnels, courses, SMS or booking), then pick the tool built for that part. Run the trial with your real funnels, automations and texts before you cancel HighLevel, and move phone numbers and 10DLC registrations last.
