Best CRM for Ecommerce in 2026

Short answer: Klaviyo is the best CRM for most ecommerce stores: the deepest Shopify data sync and flow library, with support tools on the same customer profile. Omnisend costs less at small and mid list sizes, and Brevo is cheapest for large lists you email lightly.

Starting prices are the lowest paid plan, checked on each vendor's pricing page in October 2026. G2 ratings are shown only when we confirmed them.

An ecommerce CRM has a different job from a sales CRM. A B2B sales team needs pipelines, deal stages and call logging. An online store needs a customer record that knows what each shopper bought, what they looked at, and whether they can be emailed or texted, plus automations that fire on store events: abandoned cart, first purchase, a quiet period before a win-back offer. Support matters too, because "where is my order?" questions land on the same customers you market to.

This page compares six tools that stores use for that job: Klaviyo, Omnisend, Brevo, HubSpot Marketing Hub, Zoho CRM and Freshsales. We checked each vendor's pricing page, plan comparison and help docs in October 2026, plus the Shopify App Store listings where a vendor publishes one. Prices are USD list prices. Where a vendor prices by list size, we give its own numbers at concrete list sizes.

What matters most for a store:

  • Store data sync. Orders, products and browsing events need to flow in automatically. A native Shopify (or WooCommerce, BigCommerce) integration is the minimum.
  • Pricing model. Ecommerce tools mostly charge by contacts or profiles, not by user seats. Your bill grows with your list, not your team.
  • Automation depth. Abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase and win-back flows should come pre-built, and you should know which plan unlocks them.
  • SMS and other channels. Text messages are usually billed per message on top of the plan.
  • Support and service. Some tools now bundle a helpdesk so support agents see the same customer profile marketing uses.

Klaviyo

Klaviyo started as an email tool for Shopify stores. Its site now leads with "The B2C CRM", and the product line has grown to match: Marketing (email, SMS, WhatsApp, mobile push, social), Service (Helpdesk, Customer Hub and an AI Customer Agent), Analytics and a customer data platform. Everything runs on one profile per customer.

What it does well for stores

Klaviyo's help center describes its Shopify integration as a two-way sync. Customer profiles, orders and the product catalog flow into Klaviyo, along with onsite events such as Viewed Product, Added to Cart, Viewed Collection, Submitted Search and Active on Site. You can also sync profile data back to Shopify. Those events are what abandoned cart, browse abandonment and back-in-stock flows run on.

Klaviyo's Shopify App Store listing names the flow types: abandoned cart, browse abandonment, welcome, follow-up, price drop, back-in-stock and win-back emails, plus product recommendations, SMS cart recovery and order confirmations. Klaviyo says it has over 350 built-in integrations, so WooCommerce, BigCommerce and most store add-ons (reviews, loyalty, subscriptions, shipping) can feed the same profile.

The service side is what makes the "CRM" label stick. Helpdesk gives support agents multi-channel tickets (email, SMS, web chat) with full customer context, and agents can trigger marketing flows or pause campaigns from a ticket. Customer Hub adds a self-service area on your site for order and account management. For a store, that means the person who asks "where is my order?" does not get a promo text an hour later.

Key features

  • Unified customer profiles with all-time data and real-time segments
  • Pre-built flows for abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, back-in-stock and win-back
  • Email, SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, RCS, mobile push and web forms
  • Predictive analytics and reporting dashboards on the paid Email plan
  • Helpdesk, Customer Hub and Customer Agent add-ons that share the marketing profile
  • Composer, an AI agent that builds and audits campaigns and flows from a prompt

Pricing

Klaviyo's pricing page uses a calculator built around active profiles, which it defines as any contact in your database that can receive marketing.

  • Free: up to 250 active profiles, 500 email sends a month, $5 of mobile messages a month and $5 of Composer usage a month. Email support for the first 60 days. If you go over the limits, sending is paused until you upgrade.
  • Email: priced by active profiles. Klaviyo's calculator shows $20/month for 251-500 profiles (5,000 sends), $30/month for up to 1,000 profiles, $100/month for 3,501-5,000 profiles (50,000 sends), $150/month for 6,501-10,000 profiles, and $400/month for 20,001-25,000 profiles (250,000 sends). A limited-time promotion takes $19 off the first month of Email at 500 profiles.
  • Mobile messages (SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, RCS): billed separately. Klaviyo's help center says costs are shown in dollars per message (rate x recipients x message segments), carrier fees are bundled into the rate, and unused monthly plan spend does not roll over. Klaviyo's Shopify App Store listing shows SMS from $15/month for up to 1,250 SMS/MMS credits.
  • Add-ons: Composer $20/month; Customer Hub from $20/month (up to 10,000 profiles) with a free 30-day trial; Helpdesk priced by tickets, from $10/month for 50 tickets, with a free 30-day trial; Customer Agent with the first 50 AI resolutions free; Personalization (multi-touch attribution, RFM analysis, CLV forecasts) priced by profiles; Reviews priced by orders per month.
  • Enterprise: Klaviyo Standard and Klaviyo Advanced plans through sales. Paid support packages start at $500/month and $1,800/month.

Pros

  • The deepest store-event data and flow library in this group
  • Marketing and support share one customer profile
  • Free plan includes flows, segmentation and Helpdesk ticket management
  • Large integration library for store apps

Cons

  • Billing by active profile gets expensive as your list grows
  • SMS, Helpdesk, Customer Hub and Personalization each add separate charges
  • Free plan email support ends after 60 days
  • Pricing has many moving parts: profiles, message spend and per-product add-ons

Who should use it, who should skip it

Use Klaviyo if you run a Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce store and email and SMS drive a real share of revenue. Skip it if your list is large but you email rarely: paying for every marketable profile hurts when most of them get one newsletter a month. Skip it too if you sell mostly B2B with sales reps and quotes; a sales CRM fits that better.

Omnisend

Omnisend is an email, SMS and web push platform built for ecommerce. It covers the same core store automations as Klaviyo with a simpler product and lower entry prices.

What it does well for stores

Omnisend's pricing page lists pre-built ecommerce workflows for cart abandonment, welcome series, post-purchase and re-engagement, with automation splits, A/B tests and dynamic content blocks. Segmentation uses shopping history, engagement and profile data, and contact profiles show browsing history for known and anonymous visitors. You can sync segments to Facebook Custom Audiences and Google Customer Match for retargeting.

Omnisend's Shopify App Store listing shows it works with Shopify Checkout, Shopify Flow and apps such as Gorgias, Loox, Recharge and Yotpo. Its site footer lists Shopify, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Wix and Ecwid among supported platforms.

Support is a real selling point. Omnisend offers 24/7 live chat and email support on every plan, including Free, and assigns an account expert to accounts paying at least $400 a month. It also offers a free 5-day migration of flows, lists, forms and templates.

Key features

  • Pre-built workflows for abandoned cart, browse abandonment, welcome, post-purchase and win-back
  • Email, SMS and web push in the same workflow
  • Segmentation by shopping history, lifecycle stage and engagement
  • Personalized product recommender and dynamic content on Pro
  • Facebook Custom Audiences and Google Customer Match sync

Pricing

Omnisend prices by contact list size and bills monthly. It notes that you are billed for subscribers and non-subscribers who received automated messages, and that unsubscribed contacts are not billed.

  • Free: 250 contacts, 500 emails a month, 500 web push notifications, Omnisend branding required. The Shopify listing says Free includes abandoned cart and welcome automations.
  • Standard: from $16/month for 500 contacts, with sends capped at 12x your list size (6,000 emails at 500 contacts). Omnisend's calculator shows $20/month at 501-1,000 contacts, $81/month at 4,501-5,000, $132/month at 9,001-10,000 and $282/month at 23,501-25,000. Branding is optional. Add-ons for personalized content and personalized send time start at $5/month each.
  • Pro: from $59/month for up to 2,500 contacts, with unlimited emails (fair use up to 60x list size), advanced reporting, the AI product recommender and dynamic content. The calculator shows $90/month at 4,501-5,000 contacts, $150/month at 9,001-10,000 and $400/month at 23,501-25,000.
  • Discount: 30% off the first three months if you pay three months up front.
  • SMS: charged per message. US rates on the pricing page run from $0.009 per SMS (on $10-$49.99 of credits) down to $0.007 (on $10,000+). The page offers global SMS credits as an add-on to Pro.
  • Custom: for 150,001+ contacts, through sales.

Pros

  • Lower prices than Klaviyo at small and mid list sizes
  • 24/7 live chat and email support on every plan
  • Core store automations on the Free plan
  • Free migration from other tools

Cons

  • Fewer service tools than Klaviyo: no built-in helpdesk on the pricing page
  • Standard caps sends at 12x your list size
  • AI product recommendations and dynamic content need Pro
  • SMS credits are positioned as a Pro add-on

Who should use it, who should skip it

Use Omnisend if you want Klaviyo-style flows on Shopify or WooCommerce at a lower monthly cost, and you value fast human support. Skip it if you need support ticketing and marketing on the same profile, or if you want advanced analytics such as CLV forecasting inside the same tool.

Brevo

Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) is a marketing platform with email, SMS, WhatsApp, transactional messaging, a sales CRM and a loyalty product. Its main plans charge by monthly email volume rather than by contact, which changes the maths for stores with big, quiet lists.

What it does well for stores

On the Standard plan you get unlimited multi-step automation workflows, A/B testing, send-time optimization and web and event tracking. Brevo's help center describes a pre-built abandoned cart automation that runs on its tracker and three purchase events (cart_updated, cart_deleted, order_completed). Professional adds WhatsApp, popups and push, contact scoring with RFM and CLV, AI recommendations, back-in-stock alerts and coupons. Transactional email (SMTP and API) is on every plan, which helps stores that want order emails and marketing in one place.

For Shopify specifically, Brevo's help center routes merchants to the Brevo PushOwl app. Its Shopify listing has three bundles billed through Shopify every 30 days: Basic Bundle (free; newsletters, popups, back-in-stock and price drop alerts, welcome emails), Plus Bundle at $19/month or $180/year (adds abandoned cart recovery automation and shipping updates), and Power Bundle at $79/month or $852/year (adds browse abandonment, custom automation and segmentation, and a dedicated account manager).

Key features

  • Unlimited automation workflows from the Standard plan
  • Transactional email and SMS on every plan
  • Contact scoring with RFM and CLV on Professional
  • Sales CRM seats as an add-on (Sales Essentials, Sales Advanced)
  • Brevo PushOwl app for Shopify with abandoned cart and browse abandonment bundles

Pricing

Prices below are monthly billing; yearly billing is 10% cheaper.

  • Free: up to 300 emails a day, no credit card.
  • Starter: $9/month ($8.08/month billed yearly) for 5,000 emails a month, one user. No marketing automation. Removing the Brevo logo costs extra.
  • Standard: $18/month ($16.17/month billed yearly) for 5,000 emails, up to 3 marketing seats. Adds marketing automation and removes the logo. Brevo's published price tiers put Standard at $69/month for 20,000 emails and $97/month for 50,000 emails.
  • Professional: from $499/month ($449.08/month billed yearly) for 150,000 emails, 10 seats included.
  • Enterprise: custom pricing.
  • Sales CRM add-on: Sales Essentials $31/user/month and Sales Advanced $65/user/month (monthly billing).

Contact limits depend on the email tier. Brevo's pricing reference caps Starter and Standard at 500 contacts on 5,000 emails, 1,500 on 10,000 and 2,500 on 15,000. From 20,000 emails a month, the cap rises to 500,000 contacts. So a 5,000-contact store on Standard pays at least the 20,000-email price.

Pros

  • Cheapest option here for large lists with moderate sending
  • Transactional and marketing email under one account
  • Unlimited workflows from Standard
  • Optional sales CRM for B2B or wholesale follow-up

Cons

  • Two Shopify routes (main Brevo plans and the PushOwl app bundles) make pricing harder to compare
  • Advanced ecommerce features (recommendations, back-in-stock, coupons) sit on the $499 Professional plan
  • Contact caps on low email tiers can push you up a tier
  • Less store-event depth out of the box than Klaviyo

Who should use it, who should skip it

Use Brevo if you have a large list you email a few times a month, or you want transactional and marketing email from one vendor. Skip it if you rely on rich store-event segmentation and recommendations but cannot justify Professional, or if you want one clear price per list size.

HubSpot Marketing Hub

HubSpot is a full CRM platform with marketing, sales, service and commerce products on one database. Marketing Hub is the part that sends email and runs automation. Its free tier sits on the free HubSpot CRM.

What it does well for stores

HubSpot builds its own Shopify integration, and its knowledge base says it is available on all products and plans. Contacts, products and (on Shopify Plus) companies sync both ways. Orders and abandoned checkouts sync one way from Shopify into HubSpot. The integration includes ecommerce reporting and abandoned cart features, and contact records show total orders, average order value, product views and a sales graph. Custom field mappings need at least Data Hub Starter.

The bigger reason to choose HubSpot is the rest of the platform. If you run a sales team for wholesale accounts, or a service team on HubSpot's helpdesk, every team works from the same contact record.

Key features

  • HubSpot-built Shopify sync with orders and abandoned checkouts
  • Email marketing, forms and landing pages
  • Workflows on Professional (up to 300) and Enterprise (up to 1,000, with behavioral events)
  • Shared CRM record across marketing, sales and service
  • Ecommerce reporting dashboards

Pricing

  • Free: free tools for up to 2 users.
  • Starter: $7/seat/month paid annually or $10/seat/month month-to-month for new customers (a limited-time offer; the regular price is $20/seat/month), with 1,000 marketing contacts. Email automation is limited to up to 10 automated actions.
  • Professional: from $800/month on an annual commitment, with 3 core seats (extra seats from $45/month), 2,000 marketing contacts, 3,000 HubSpot credits and a required $3,000 onboarding fee. Up to 300 workflows.
  • Enterprise: from $3,600/month, 5 core seats (extra from $75/month), 10,000 marketing contacts and a required $7,000 onboarding fee.

Pros

  • One CRM for marketing, sales and service teams
  • Native Shopify integration built and maintained by HubSpot
  • Ecommerce reporting and order data on contact records
  • Free CRM to start

Cons

  • Full multi-step workflows start at $800/month plus $3,000 onboarding
  • Starter automation is limited to 10 automated actions
  • Included marketing contacts are small for a consumer list (1,000 on Starter, 2,000 on Professional)
  • Professional requires an annual commitment

Who should use it, who should skip it

Use HubSpot if your store also sells to businesses, runs a sales team, or wants marketing and service in one CRM and has the budget for Professional. Skip it if you are a pure DTC store with a large consumer list; you will pay more for less ecommerce-specific automation than Klaviyo or Omnisend offer.

Zoho CRM

Zoho CRM is a customizable sales CRM priced per user. It is not an email marketing tool, but it has ecommerce-friendly pieces: inventory management, sales orders and invoices, customer portals and a Shopify extension.

What it does well for stores

Zoho's help docs describe a Shopify extension that syncs contacts, products, draft orders and orders between Shopify and Zoho CRM. Changes to customer details, products and orders in Shopify update the matching records in Zoho CRM. It is available in Zoho's US, EU, IN, AU, CA and JP data centers. On Professional you also get inventory management (invoices, sales and purchase orders, products and vendors), customer portals, web-to-case forms and customer journeys.

That makes Zoho a good fit for wholesale accounts, B2B reorders and high-value sales where a rep follows up. For newsletters and abandoned cart flows you would add a separate marketing tool.

Key features

  • Shopify extension syncing contacts, products, draft orders and orders
  • Workflow automation on every edition, including Free
  • Inventory management, CPQ and customer portals on Professional
  • Mass email, built-in calling and multiple pipelines on Standard
  • API access (5,000 calls/day on Free)

Pricing

Per user per month, billed annually (monthly billing in brackets):

  • Free: up to 3 users, with workflow automation, 10 email templates and 5,000 API calls a day.
  • Standard: $14 ($20).
  • Professional: $23 ($35).
  • Enterprise: $40 ($50).
  • Ultimate: $52 ($65).

Paid editions offer a free trial.

Pros

  • Low per-user cost and a free plan for 3 users
  • Order and product data in the CRM via the Shopify extension
  • Inventory, quotes and invoices for B2B selling
  • Highly customizable modules and fields

Cons

  • No built-in ecommerce email or SMS flows comparable to Klaviyo or Omnisend
  • You need a second tool for retail marketing
  • Customization takes time to set up well
  • Per-user pricing adds up if many staff need access

Who should use it, who should skip it

Use Zoho CRM if you sell wholesale or B2B alongside your store and need reps to manage accounts, quotes and orders. Skip it if your main need is consumer email and SMS marketing.

Freshsales

Freshsales is Freshworks' sales CRM, with built-in phone, email and chat. Like Zoho, it is a sales tool first.

What it does well for stores

Freshworks' support docs describe a Shopify app that brings all store customers into the Contacts module and logs order events, with real-time sync while the store is connected. The sync runs one way, from Shopify to the CRM. Reps can view a customer's orders, shipping details and billing information without leaving Freshsales.

Where Freshsales stands out is the sales motion: phone, email and chat from the Growth plan, contact lifecycle stages, and sales sequences on Pro. That suits high-ticket stores (furniture, equipment, B2B supplies) where a rep calls leads.

Key features

  • Built-in chat, email and phone from Growth
  • Shopify app with one-way sync of customers and order events
  • Sales sequences, contact scoring and territory management on Pro
  • Custom modules and sandbox on Enterprise
  • Freddy AI Agent add-on

Pricing

Per user per month, billed annually (Freshworks says annual billing saves 20%):

  • Growth: $9.
  • Pro: $39.
  • Enterprise: $59.

There is no free plan; the trial lasts 21 days. Add-ons include Freddy AI Agent at $49 per 100 sessions and branded documents at $19/user/month.

Pros

  • Low entry price with phone, email and chat included
  • Sales sequences for structured follow-up on Pro
  • Shopify order history visible to reps
  • Clear three-plan structure

Cons

  • No free plan
  • One-way Shopify sync
  • Not an ecommerce marketing tool: no abandoned cart or SMS flows like Klaviyo's
  • Sequences need the $39 Pro plan

Who should use it, who should skip it

Use Freshsales if phone-based selling drives your revenue and reps need order context. Skip it if you need automated consumer marketing; it does not replace an email and SMS platform.

What It Costs: A Worked Example

Here is what a store pays per year at two list sizes, using each vendor's published list prices. These exclude SMS usage, taxes and intro discounts.

Store A: 5,000 marketable contacts

  • Klaviyo Email: $100/month (3,501-5,000 active profiles, 50,000 sends) x 12 = $1,200/year.
  • Omnisend Standard: $81/month (4,501-5,000 contacts) x 12 = $972/year. Omnisend Pro: $90/month x 12 = $1,080/year.
  • Brevo Standard: a 5,000-contact list needs at least the 20,000-email tier. Monthly billing: $69 x 12 = $828/year. Yearly billing: $194 base + $551 for the 20,000-email tier = $745/year. At 50,000 emails a month (closer to Klaviyo's included sends), monthly billing is $97 x 12 = $1,164/year.
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub Starter includes 1,000 marketing contacts; the price of extra contacts was not shown on the pricing page we checked, so we cannot compute this case.

Store B: 25,000 marketable contacts

  • Klaviyo Email: $400/month (20,001-25,000 profiles, 250,000 sends) x 12 = $4,800/year.
  • Omnisend Standard: $282/month x 12 = $3,384/year. Omnisend Pro: $400/month x 12 = $4,800/year.
  • Brevo Standard at 100,000 emails a month (four emails per contact): $18 base + $121 tier = $139/month, or $1,668/year on monthly billing.

Adding a sales CRM for a 3-person wholesale team

  • Zoho CRM Professional: $23 x 3 users x 12 = $828/year (billed annually).
  • Freshsales Pro: $39 x 3 users x 12 = $1,404/year (billed annually).

The takeaway: Klaviyo costs the most per profile, Omnisend is cheaper on Standard and matches Klaviyo on Pro at 25,000 contacts, and Brevo is much cheaper when sends per contact stay low. Factor in what you give up at each price: Omnisend Standard caps sends at 12x your list, and Brevo's advanced ecommerce features sit on Professional.

How to Choose

Start with your store platform

All six tools connect to Shopify. Klaviyo and Omnisend are built around store data. HubSpot's integration is HubSpot-built and brings orders and abandoned checkouts in. Brevo uses the Brevo PushOwl app on Shopify. Zoho and Freshsales sync customers and orders so reps can see them, but they do not run consumer flows.

Decide who uses the CRM

If marketers and support agents are the users, pick a B2C platform (Klaviyo, Omnisend, Brevo). If sales reps are the users, pick a sales CRM (Zoho, Freshsales, HubSpot). Many stores end up with one of each, connected by integration.

Model the bill on your real list

Count marketable contacts, not total customers. Klaviyo bills on active profiles (contacts who can receive marketing). Omnisend bills contacts who received automated messages and does not bill unsubscribed contacts. Brevo bills by email volume. Clean out unengaged contacts before you compare quotes.

Check which plan unlocks the flows you need

  • Klaviyo: flows and segmentation on Free, with paid Email adding predictive analytics.
  • Omnisend: abandoned cart and welcome automations on Free; product recommender and dynamic content on Pro.
  • Brevo: automation on Standard; recommendations, back-in-stock and coupons on Professional. On Shopify via PushOwl, abandoned cart is in the Plus Bundle and browse abandonment in Power.
  • HubSpot: up to 10 automated actions on Starter; full workflows on Professional.

Budget for SMS separately

All the marketing platforms here charge for SMS by usage. Klaviyo bundles carrier fees into its per-message rate. Omnisend lists US rates from $0.009 down to $0.007 per SMS by volume. Brevo sells SMS credits separately.

Think about leaving

Your flows, templates and segments are the hard part to move. Omnisend offers a free 5-day migration. Before you sign, check that you can export profiles with purchase history and event data.

Final Recommendations

  • Best overall: Klaviyo. The strongest store-data sync, the widest flow library and a growing service layer on the same profile. Budget for its per-profile pricing as your list grows.
  • Best value for Shopify stores: Omnisend. Similar core flows, lower Standard pricing, and 24/7 live support even on Free.
  • Best for large lists with light sending: Brevo. Email-volume pricing keeps costs low; check the Shopify bundle or Professional plan if you need advanced ecommerce features.
  • Best for stores with a sales team: HubSpot Marketing Hub. One CRM for marketing, sales and service, if you can afford Professional.
  • Best budget CRM for wholesale and B2B: Zoho CRM. Orders, products and inventory in a CRM from $14/user/month (billed annually).
  • Best for phone-led sales: Freshsales. Built-in calling and sequences, with Shopify order history for reps.

Frequently asked questions

For most online stores, Klaviyo. It markets itself as a B2C CRM and combines unified customer profiles, a two-way Shopify sync of orders, products and onsite events, pre-built abandoned cart and win-back flows, SMS, and optional Helpdesk and Customer Hub add-ons. Omnisend is the lower-cost alternative, and Brevo is cheapest for large lists you email lightly.
